Meet our team

Lauren Randazzo

Operations Coordinator

Though, not a filmmaker herself, Lauren loves getting to work alongside a team that works in the art of storytelling. Fueled by her passion for creativity, details, and desire to come alongside people she loves being Lux Lab’s administrative assistant. As a previous wedding coordinator, and administrative assistant for several non-profits, she thrives in jobs where the details matter! As a remote worker Lauren resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lauren fell in love with the rolling hills, songs and story of The Sound of Music at a young age. Her love for movies and the enchantment of being pulled into their stories only grew. In her free time you will find her taking a stroll with her husband, Vince, planning her next trip or trying out a new recipe.

Nick Falls

Founder | CEO | Head of Creative

The desire to understand human nature has fueled Nick’s love for commercial, short-narratives, and documentary film-making. He loves the idea that something can be created out of nothing and it is his passion and mission to invite people into your brand’s life-changing story through visual storytelling.

Nick grew up filmmaking with his friends at the age of ten mostly creating spoofs of The Matrix and Speed (if you find these on YouTube, you win a free coffee with him). With a background in photography, he has developed a distinct taste for composition and simple, clear storytelling.

John Schmidt

Senior Creator

John has been a professional editor and videographer for over 650 weeks and with a little math, you will come to realize that John is just a plain bad ass. He received his bachelors in broadcast from Western Illinois University and completed film school at The Colorado Film School.

When he's not making videos, John is working hard on home improvement. He is also married to a nurse which comes in handy during said home improvement.

Maggie Peter

Video Creator

Maggie believes that video can be used as a powerful tool to inspire, create change, and ignite passion. Many of the ways she has been influenced in her life to grow was through truthful, good, and beautiful media. These experiences have driven her to want to do the same for others, and spread truthful and powerful messages through the lens of videography.

Maggie first fell in love with the art of cinematography when she was introduced to her dad's camcorder at 12 years old. Maggie pursued the videography field in high school and college and received a bachelors degree in Digital Broadcast and Production from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
