After achieving a mastery talent for acting by the age of 18, fame got to his head and Nick decided to move behind the camera to take on directing. With a background in photography, he has developed a distinct taste for composition and simple storytelling. The desire to understand human nature has fueled his love for long-form narrative and documentary film-making. Forming this hobby into a career has been a decade long journey which has provided insight on so many perspectives except for being a new parent which is so confusing.
John is a Jack-of-all-trades filmmaker who got his degree at the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film in Lincoln, Nebraska. His final school film was a moving piece about brotherhood and an alien invasion. Since then he's interviewed bishops, rubbed elbows with Emilio Estevez, and married the love of his life, Caitlin, who is great at writing bios. Fun fact: He's also an Eagle Scout so you know he's trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. He enjoys making tangible the creative dreams of his friends and clients.
While dreaming of visiting Jurassic Park one day after watching the first in the series, Keegan became enchanted with the power that storytelling and film has on captivating the imagination and heart. Bringing his near decade in various leadership capacities at FOCUS, Keegan desires to help clients share their stories in ways that will captivate their audiences and move them to action. Keegan spends his time outside the creative world enchanted by his beautiful wife and three daughters, reveling in nature, reading, and trying not to obsess too much with his favorite sports teams.
John has been a professional editor and videographer for over 600 weeks and with a little math, you will come to realize that John is just a plain bad ass. He received his bachelors in broadcast from Western Illinois University and completed film school at The Colorado Film School. When he's not making videos, John is working hard on home improvement. He also recently married a nurse which comes in handy during said home improvement.
